Nature & Poetry
Nature & Poetry
There is only one reality.
Nature.
Nature is not dead matter but living totality.
Spirit is nature apprehended in its wholeness.
The gods are recurring disclosures of nature’s powers, rhythms, and modes of appearing.
The soul is a localized center through which nature becomes conscious of itself.
Interiority is the neuro-somatic state-space in which this participation is received and organized as experience.
Participation is the deepening of presence.
Attunement is the refinement of participation.
Poetry is the articulation of attunement.
The poet is a cultivated form of nature becoming increasingly present to itself.
Through poetry, nature speaks not as object but as participant.
The poem is the trace left behind when being enters more deeply into being.
